On the evening of day-one at the formnext 2018 show in Frankfurt, Italian high-end 3D printer (and jewelry machinery) manufacturer Sisma invited a select number of journalists and industry players to an exclusive event to present the new EVERES ZERO and EVERES UNO 3D printers.
The gala evening took place at the beautiful Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt, the elegant applied art and design museum which was chosen to highlight the sleek and stylish appearance of the new systems. EVERES ZERO and EVERES UNO are professional 3D printers based on DLP “Digital Light Processing” technology, designed and built to offer an extremely accessible and highly automated user experience.
Equipped with innovative patent-pending technologies, the systems are targeted primarily at markets such as jewelry, medical, dental and industrial production. The self-alignment and self-zeroing of the building platform, the resin vat in a non-degenerative material due to the photo-curing process, high printing speed, automatic resin loading/unloading, together with the “Click&Make” software function, were developed to deliver the ultimate 3D printing experience.
Presented by Gianni Zitelli, Head of 3D Resin Technology at Sisma, the system’s sleek design was envisioned by students at the University of Padua. Sisma’s own engineering team worked hard on getting the system through development in record time.
The disruptive system is now complete and ready to hit the market in early Q2 2019. It will be disruptive in price as well, with a target price point of just $13,900, which is particularly significant if considering the recognized quality and reliability of Sisma products. Material capsules are also competitively priced below $300 per 500-gram cartridge.
ZTT fast EVERES specs
The patent-pending ZTT (Zero Tilting Technology) enables extremely fast printing routines without sacrificing quality. The PTFE bottom of the vat is not subject to degenerative phenomena during the photo-curing process of the resin. The first layer will be precise and detailed as well as the last one. The mechanical stress in the formation of the object is minimal.
The patent-pending Smart Building Platform system allows self-alignment and self-zeroing of the building platform at every printing cycle, eliminating any human calibration intervention. The automatic detachment function also eliminates the risk of breaking the newly printed objects.
The use of PTFE in the bottom of the vat, an inert material in the exothermic photo-curing process, allows for a non-degenerative printing, granting a very high dimensional precision together with a high repeatability and reliability of the process.
