Sinterit is now Industry 4.0 ready

Sinterit, the European producer of SLS 3D printers Lisa and Lisa PRO just released the new software update which made the printers compliant with industry 4.0 standard.
We received questions from our clients about Industry 4.0 standards compatibility,” said Grzegorz Głowa, head of R&D department in Sinterit. “For some of them, it was a must – a 3D printer without such compliance just could not be used.”
One of the aims of Industry 4.0 readiness is an automated integration with factory logistics. Devices like 3D printers need to generate an output communication of job status (i.e., the factory logistics must be capable of query the status of the machine). Now, after the software update, Lisa and Lisa PRO are providing such information.
The new “print monitor online” function gives the ability to track the printing process online. But it is not all that changed. The user interface is now more intuitive and easier to operate. Every function can be easily accessed.
One of the benefits of Sinterit software was always a dedicated Sinterit Studio Software. More than a slicer – comprehensive tool to manage the whole 3D printing process. Now it has a better object collision detector. It is the next step in the direction of automatic model positioning.
The current software update includes the appearance of new accessories in the Sinterit offer.
