Sicnova has signed an agreement with the French manufacturer 3DCeram for the distribution of its advanced ceramic additive manufacturing products, aimed at customers in need of high-performance equipment and materials for the most demanding additive manufacturing applications.
Sicnova thus incorporates into its portfolio the Ceramaker production series 3D printers: C3600 Ultimate, C900 Flex, and C100 Easy. These models have different production volumes to adapt to the needs of any type of client, from small laboratories that carry out prototyping and research with single pieces or small pieces to industrial companies with massive customization needs.
On the other hand, the distribution agreement includes both the Spanish and Latin American markets (excluding Brazil), with a focus on various professional sectors such as defense, aerospace, industrial sectors, biomedicine, research and development, technical ceramics, and luxury goods.
3DCeram technology is in laser stereolithography and allows the manufacture of parts without supports with ceramic materials, capable of achieving excellent mechanical, thermal, chemical, and electrical resistance properties, which is why they are highly appreciated in industries that require parts with the maximum performance.
“It is a pleasure to announce our collaboration with Sicnova, which stands out for its industrial experience in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, medicine, or education,” says Arnaud Roux, Sales Manager at 3D Ceram. “3DCeram and Sicnova join forces and experience to help their clients choose and implement the most suitable 3D technical ceramic technology,” he says.
Agustín García, Commercial Director of Sicnova, assesses the possibilities of this new technology in the context of its current catalog of 3D solutions. “Ceramic 3D printing makes new complex pieces possible, which are very difficult to produce with traditional methods. The excellent mechanical, electrical, thermal, and chemical properties of ceramic materials make these printers the perfect choice for very specific applications in sectors such as aerospace, medicine, oil, and gas, automotive, or the chemical industry ”, he assures.
3DCeram Sinto has an experience of more than 20 years perfecting the 3D ceramic printing process, with a wide range of 3D printers, materials, and services such as maintenance and training. 3DCeram currently has a catalog of more than 15 ceramic pastes for use with its 3D printers, from alumina to silicon nitride and zirconia.
