3D printer hardware OEM, Roboze, has been selected among hundreds of candidates as one of the World Economic Forum’s “Technology Pioneers”.
Roboze’s main goal is to shape a new paradigm in digital manufacturing – Roboze Distributed Manufacturing that connects demand with supply, creating a distributed production model, which allows for production with the avoidance of waste, the reduction in shipments and CO2 emissions, and for bringing production back to the point of use.
The Technology Pioneers are early- to growth-stage companies from around the world that are involved in the use of new technologies and innovations that are poised to have a significant impact on business and society.
“We’re excited to welcome Roboze to our 2022 cohort of Technology Pioneers,” said Saemoon Yoon, Community Lead, Technology Pioneers at the World Economic Forum. “Roboze and its fellow pioneers are at the forefront of industries that are critical to solving some of our world’s most complex issues today. We look forward to their contribution to the World Economic Forum in its commitment to improving the state of the world.”
With Roboze’s selection as Technology Pioneer, Alessio Lorusso, Founder, and CEO of Roboze, will be invited to participate in World Economic Forum activities, events, and discussions throughout the year. Roboze will also contribute to Forum initiatives over the next two years, working with global leaders to help address key industry and societal issues.
“It’s great to be recognized as a pioneer by the World Economic Forum,” said Alessio Lorusso. “This new recognition is a confirmation that our R&D efforts and vision of a new way of manufacturing can improve the lives of many people, not only companies but also the whole society. We look forward to contributing to the Forum’s discussions on this challenge.”
Technology Pioneers have been selected based on the community’s selection criteria, which includes innovation, impact, and leadership as well as the company’s relevance with the World Economic Forum’s Platforms.
