Polish 3D printer manufacturing startup SONDASYS is introducing the first polish made polymer SLS 3D printer, the SONDASYS 01, at the upcoming formnext show in Frankfurt.
SONDASYS 01 is the first Polish industrial SLS 3D printer. It can work with any material, excluding high-temperature powders. The machine is capable of changing the size of the build chamber – it starts with a capacity of 250 x 250 x 350 mm and can be scaled to 350 x 350 x 600 mm. The building area’s accessible configuration system has been patented. The 3D printer comes with a model cleaning station and a powder mixer. The materials are delivered by ExCellTec.
The system is equipped with the most advanced optical system available on the global market. The whole process is digitally controlled for the highest precision of prints. Digital optics and high power lasers allow for fast and precise sintering of work material. By using two interchangeable work chambers of different sizes, user can quickly and easily optimize production costs according to current production needs. SONDASYS has managed to reduce the build-up losses by optimizing the work chamber and the gas-insulated production area.
The 3D printer is supported by dedicated print process control software, featuring an intuitive and user-friendly interface. The software allows previewing the process and parameters of the printing during the process. Innovative software architecture and the user-friendly interface allow the user to operate the device without specialized training.
The system generates a protective atmosphere inside the working chamber and the innovative heating system of the chamber ensures safe operation of the device. Dedicated workstations and cleaning models facilitate and accelerate the post-processing of manufactured parts. SONDASYS 01 fits in with the concept of Industry 4.0. It features Ethernet, USB, and also supports Wi-Fi connectivity via mobile devices.
