Pinshape Announces 3D Printed Character Design Contest Winners

The Character Design Contest organized by 3D model network was the most competitive yet and judges reportedly had difficult time choosing the winners, as even narrowing the entries down to even the top 10 finalists proved a daunting task. Formlabs, Wacom, and ZBrush sponsored the contest. Here are some of the from the contest and the top three winners.
Honorable Mentions
Markochulev did an excellent job with the design and presentation of The Guardian. His design was printed on the Formlabs Form 2 and finished with a bit of grey primer.
Al De Capode aka “Le tourteau ninja” by Charles-Victorien Kaing
Charles’ excellent presentation, full color renders, and assembly instructions made this one of the top contenders.
Chris_nix is a professional character artist and this shows through his NOOT design. He printed it in Formlabs’ Grey V3 resin and included a few excellent full color renders with the design.
3rd Place
Chrustian Seabourne by Braddock
Judges were blown away by this design by Braddock and Pinshape used it for last week’s featured designs header. This has been split into multiple parts for optimal printing and assembly and has won Braddock both a Wacom Intuos 3D Package with ZBrush Core.
2nd Place
Baushkin has won second place in this Character Design Contest with this incredible Titania design! This was printed using SLA and has won Baushkin a Wacom Intuos Pro and full ZBrush license.
1st Place
Clementine comes with a number of different variations and can be assembled in whatever configuration you’d like. With excellent presentation and a full-color painted print, Gokcen has won first prize in the Character Design Contest and a Formlabs Form 2 3D Printer Package.
