Stay up to date with everything that is happening in the wonderful world of AM via our LinkedIn community.

Turkey based Oo-Kuma launched its new range of 3D printers, including a desktop system alreayd available to buy and a larger production systems available for pre-order. The desktop KATANA 3D printer has one piece body frame and is built using aerospace grade alloys and manufacturing processes enabling to keep working for thousand of hours without any maintenance.

The KATANA 3D printer uses precise temperature sensors allowing to work up to 480 degrees celcius with no break-down. Therefore, thermocouples assigned results in excellent repeability even for all engineering-grade materials.

Enhanced Nozzle Variations
Untraditional high precision nozzle tips gives freedom for printing down to 20 microns and up to 1mm of layer height. Innovative Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum alloy stands against abrasion of any kind.

Unmatched Precision
Resolution of up to 1.5 microns in X&Y and 1.25 microns in Z axis gives you best print quality and surface finish, for any job, for any model.

One of a kind Build Platform
Patented build surface coating makes all of the OO-KUMA materials be easily printed over and over again, infinitely with no extra requirements or costs!

No Need for an Operator
WI-FI connectivity and touch screen panel allows easy management of jobs while smart sensing algorithms handle printing process automatically. Bundled OO-KUMA Workbench software redefines complete workflow by embedded slicing engine with uttermost performance.
