New print bed for all materials eliminates first layer issues
PolyLock’s dual-state technology eliminates need for scraping, taping, and glueing

3DQue Systems Inc. is introducing PolyLock, the print bed for thermoplastic filament extrusion 3D printers that utilizes the same dual-state technology as the VAAPR bed included in 3DQue’s automation upgrade kit (Quinly for Ender 3).
PolyLock is being launched in response to significant demand for a high-performance print bed that provides both reliable adhesion and effortless part removal.
“The first layer is most critical when 3D printing, and yet is one of the things people most often have trouble with. We’ve all experienced staring at that nozzle for the first 20 minutes of a print, praying that those corners stay put. We developed a print surface material that lets you take your mind off that first layer and focus on more important things,” said Mateo, inventor and Co-founder of 3DQue.
PolyLock is compatible with most filaments, eliminating the need to switch out the bed when switching from ABS to PLA or PP to TPU. It creates more than 9 pounds per square inch of force without the need for adhesives such as glue or tape. Parts can be easily plucked off the bed without using scrapers, razors or other tools and the bed can be cleaned easily with water and mild dish soap.
Polylock comes with a lifetime guarantee free from manufacturing defects and is available for pre-sale since June 1st, 2021.
