Taiwanese 3D Printer company MiiCraft is introducing the new Advance and Profession 3D printer series, featuring 4K resolution, a large building platform and fast printing speeds. Powered by Digi-optical technology with entire layer UV light exposure, these DLP photopolymerization systems can achieve Z-axis printing speeds of more than 2 cm/hour, with an XY axis printing area that is around 4 times as large as other similarly priced systems on the market. XY axis printing precision is in the range of 30 to 125 micron, depending on different printing size.
MiiCraft started with a small and high precision desktop printer in 2012. This small printer became a big hit among by jewelry makers and has even been used in printing microfluidics for research. In 2016, the MiiCraft 125 series printer launched as the company introduced a comprehensive software and material solutions for professional users. This year, the MiiCraft Advance and Profession printers are set to increase production volume and reach entry level of industrial applications. In its largest configuration, the build plate can contain 50 dental arches, without sacrificing XY resolution the XY resolution.
The next generation of MiiCraft printers features a dedicated light engine to ensure printing accuracy,industrial-grade performance and long product lifespan. The light engine module has been designed for the UV LED light source to project 4K resolution images, as the printing technology projects entire layer images onto the transparent tank filled with photopolymer resins. MiiCraft also has a unique aerodynamic peeling patent design that further optimizes printing speed and stability.
The slicing software “Utility” features three easy tools for new users: “Model auto arrangement”, “Auto support” and “Printing scenario setting”, make it simple and quick to complete 3D file preparation before printing. For advanced users, Utility ensures the most flexible printing parameter settings, enabling users to customize exposure time and peeling motion for different materials. Furthermore, Utility provides several tools for image correction: for example, anti-aliasing, resin shrinkage compensation, edge enhancement, contour exposure. Users who pursue perfect accuracy can benefit from these image optimization tools.
The MiiCraft Advance and Profession series is tailored for dental and jewelry applications and is an ideal entry-level device for functional parts and prototyping. This can be achieved through 4 different engineering resins: IP transparent, BV022 IP high-resistant, BV023 IP Durable black, BV013B Cast HD black. The systems also support third party resins.
