Jewelry Maker App Brings Custom 3D Printed Jewelry at Your Fingertips

More affordable, more customizable, more elegant and, soon, available to anywhere in the world: this is the future of 3D printed customized jewelry. The Jewelry Maker app on Google Play, by Taiwan based Elements Lab, is quite literally bringing 3D printed jewelry it to everyone’s fingertips.

Elements Lab founder Ting Tang has a global vision for her 3D printed jewelry products and it all begins from an app which is extremely user friendly and yet it lets users create highly professional products such as the sample ones in the images on EL’s Pinterest account and on this page.

A Jewelry Maker App for Everyone

DSC02848“These are just another few products pictures are from the Jewelry Maker App, which can be used to make rings, charms and pendants,” Ting says, “We want to convey the message that this app can truly enable people to create professional, custom products at a price that everyone can afford.”

Every item from the app is priced from $49 to a maximum of $100. For example, the ring for men is set at about $70 and the cage is priced at $100. All pricing is intended before global shipping costs, which range from $15 to $35.

We use the mobile app to provide consumers the best of technology and convenience: there’s no reason we we would want to scare them away with an unfriendly price tag. Our objective is to continue to grow and we’re already working on our second app, similar design but for different category,” says Ting.

To implement the more “distributed manufacturing network”  made possible by 3D printing, Ting and her team are building the the concept of “jewelry pick up” centers around the world. “It is a new idea but it should quite literally work like a charm,” Tang admits.  The “pick up center” would basically act as a franchisee but the relationship would more similar to a partnership. It would be a physical and virtual location to collect orders, receive packages and even produce locally in some cases.
