Barcelona-based 3D printing company BCN3D Technologies has signed a distribution agreement with Italian company Crea3D, which will enable it to grow its presence in the southern European region. Crea3D will now distribute BCN3D’s 3D printing systems, based on its IDEX technology, to the Italian market through its established B2B and B2C channels.
Crea3D has been distributing 3D printing products to the professional market in Italy since 2013, so is a strategic partner for BCN3D. Over the years, the company has built up a strong online and offline presence and has a trusted reseller network within Italy. The company also has service and design business units and produces 3D printing technologies and solutions for the medical sector.
“We are really excited about this new collaboration with BCN3D,” said Bartolomeo Paparella, CEO of Crea3D. “From the beginning, our goal has always been to provide professional solutions at affordable prices. The BCN3D team is young, dynamic, with a willingness to constantly innovate, stating in a very short time their position in the global 3D printing market. By adding BCN3D products to our portfolio, we will be able to expand our offer, always guaranteeing companies and professionals up-to-date high-quality solutions.”
Through the agreement, Crea3D will be distributing BCN3D’s Sigma and Sigmax desktop 3D printers, as well as the BCN3D Epsilon, a professional workbench 3D printer launched last year at Formnext. Crea3D also distributes several other 3D printer brands, including Ultimaker, Intamsys, Formlabs, Shining 3D and others.
“We are pleased to cooperate with CREA3D, an alliance which will support us in increasing the sales in the Italian market, where there is a high potential for the IDEX system and the distinctive duplication, mirror and multi material printing modes,” added Xavier Martínez Faneca, CEO of BCN3D. “Their considerable experience in additive manufacturing, combined with a top-quality technical know-how makes Crea3D the right fit to help us grow and serve Italian customers in the best possible way.”
