I was asked by the person that works at the hospital if we could help them to get Face Masks for the staff members. I have the same signals from Portugal. They didn’t run out yet, but they are on short supplies.

They didn’t even want to talk to me 2 days ago, now they are asking what is the price for that mask. Well. I don’t make them. We do make them. I was thinking about one, but I didn’t start as it is a massive challenge. One thing is to make something for a trip to the shop. Other, for 100 workers of theHospital. Theirs just needs to work.

There is a lot of chat, but if I will be told we need them now, I don’t know a single person in Poland with 3D printer and I only hit the walls. I am looking for them for 2 days. I live in England. Here the situation is fine.

We really need those 3D companies to help us all over the world. I cannot print 100 masks at home in 1 day. They can. Just the printers have been switched off.

We are here and we want to help. Be we just cannot team-up. This is a good start, but you need to add more options to your page. I need help tomorrow afternoon in Poland. This is how it looks for today. And I am alone, as everyone is keep printing valves, or simply telling me that I am nuts.

I need help in the Silesian area of Poland. South of Poland. Or 200 printers, or 1 company with very fast ones and precise. So far, no luck. We are working on different models around the world,  so few should meet medical requirements and get accepted. Maybe they will drop from the sky, but I seriously doubt so.

South of Poland? Anyone. If this Hospital will get stock up, they will go somewhere else. People are making parts in 3D. The files are almost ready. We all work with Doctors who tell us what to do. I don’t just draw it in 3D.

My idea is simple. We cannot make filters. But they still have some supplies left. Let make or transform the mask that is available, into the virus protective one, by simply cutting the mask and making 6 or 8 filters out of them. In the US you can use 3M masks for dust in medicine. A loophole in the law. Well, if they will run out, they will have nothing. So I think that this would be better than nothing.

Let’s DIY. Like on bloody Apollo 13.

Drukować możemy przejściówki do filtrów.
Był tu gdzieś ciekawy wpis, żeby robić filtry prostokątne, bo lepiej wykorzystamy materiał wycinając wkłady z filtrów HEPA do klim.

Hej, jeśli chodzi o drukarki 3D to mamy dwie opcje.
