Our editorial team is made up of expert and skilled journalists who are fully familiar with additive manufacturing industry dynamics and have been covering 3D printing for several years. Occasional and regular contributors include some of the most respected names in the industry. Together we are able to provide timely and in-depth insights into industry dynamics and accurate analyses into the implications of all news and announcements.

    3D Printing Media Network is the editorial branch of 3D Printing Business Directory. It was set up to provide the latest industry news and opinions to a global audience of professionals.

    I've always loved reading and writing. I started working in an editorial office as a sports journalist in 2008, then the passion for journalism and for the world of communication in general, allowed me to greatly expand my interests, leading to several years of collaborations with several popular online newspapers. I then approached 3D printing, impressed by the great potential of this new technology, which day after the day pushed me to learn more and more about what I consider a real revolution that will soon be felt in many fields of our daily life.

    Anthony has been following the industry since 2010. He works with the editorial team and is responsible for co-ordinating and publishing digital content on our international website. As well as following the tech landscape, he is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and music producer.
  • Benedict O'Neill

    Benedict is a freelance writer with several years of experience in the additive manufacturing industry, having served as co-editor of a leading 3D printing news website. He also produces content for sports and culture platforms and holds a master’s degree in English literature.
  • Davide Sher

    Since 2002, I have built up extensive experience as a technology journalist, market analyst and consultant for the additive manufacturing industry. Born in Milan, Italy, I spent 12 years in the United States, where I received my Bachelor of Arts undergraduate degree. As a journalist covering the tech industry - especially the videogame industry - for over 10 years, I began covering the AM industry specifically in 2013, as blogger. In 2016 I co-founded London-based 3D Printing Business Media Ltd. (now 3dpbm) which operates in marketing, editorial, and market analysis & consultancy services for the additive manufacturing industry. 3dpbm publishes 3D Printing Business Directory, the largest global directory of companies related to 3DP, and leading news and insights websites 3D Printing Media Network and Replicatore. I am also a Senior Analyst for leading US-based firm SmarTech Analysis focusing on the additive manufacturing industry and relative vertical markets.
  • Eleonora Sher

    Ellie brings years of experience in design and marketing to 3DPBM’s social media activities. She is responsible for co-ordinating all our social media content, keeping up-to-date with the latest online trends and defining our social media strategy. Ellie grew up in London, UK and received her MA in Art and Science from Central Saint Martins, London. Working with leading think tanks, she has helped organise and host a number of events, lectures and initiatives focusing on future technologies and societies.
  • Federico Sher

    Fede brings his background in architecture and design to 3dpbm’s vision. Working with all teams, he focuses on the company’s overall brand message, establishing and refining our strategy and overseeing long-term projects. Fede grew up in London, UK and graduated with first-class honours from the School of Architecture, Oxford Brookes.

    Georgi Makin is the Editor for 3D printing in medicine website, 3DMedNet. 3DMedNet is a free, 3D printing community website for the sharing of expert insights and the latest news covering all aspects of medical 3D printing. Through special features, interviews, webinars, news coverage and a two-day inaugural conference, 3DMedLIVE, 3DMedNet aims to progress the field to the next level facilitating collaboration and multidisciplinary approaches to modern challenges. Georgi has worked in science communication since 2016 and was previously Editor for industry publication, Bioanalysis Zone. She reports on the latest developments from around the world, is an Ambassador for multiple women in science initiatives and is passionate about diversity and inclusion in STEM.

    Giorgio Magistrelli is a project manager and advisor in Industry 4.0 and additive manufacturing, further than an admitted lawyer with a long term financial and banking experience in emerging and mature markets. Senior advisor and trainer specifically focused on the regulatory, financial and business aspects of Trade, Advanced Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 with related IoT applications, he has long experience in related European Commission H2020 projects, standards, IPR protection, Financial modelling, R&D and Innovation. Speaker and trainer of more than 300 conferences and training sessions, Giorgio developed a credit and venture capital financial experience worldwide as well as experiences as an entrepreneur, manager of corporations and of advocacy institutions, international donors’ projects, large communications campaigns for corporations and governments. Following his long term experience in advising corporations worldwide, he is also at present an EASME (European Commission Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) appointed coach to support European Advanced/Additive Manufacturing companies, in terms of processes, materials, standards, and business management, the Team leader of WP10 for the 4Dhybrid project, Team Leader–WP7 Communication and Dissemination and member of WP 03 on standardization and IPR for the H2020 Sherlock Project and responsible for the execution of Training modules in H2020 and EC related projects and former member of the Consortium team of the EC DG Grow Project Report on 3D-printing: Current and future application areas, existing industrial value chains and missing competences in the EU Included in the EC Database of experts of DG COMM, and past member of the Vanguard Initiative, he often writes on Industry 4.0, IoT, Blockchains, Robotics and Additive manufacturing and related legal, financial business and standardization issues on various magazines (as A3DM Magazine of which he is an editor and member of the technical committee).
  • Janne Kyttanen

    Janne Kyttanen is a visionary and pioneer in the 3D printing industry. As founder of Freedom of Creation, he became one of the first designers to commercialize 3D printed products, including light fixtures, footwear, furniture, and much more. When Freedom of Creation was acquired by 3D Systems in 2011, Kyttanen took up the mantle as the company’s Creative Director, an influential position which he thrived in for 4 years. Now, Kyttanen puts his 3D expertise to another use, as co-founder and CEO of What the Future Venture Capital, a VC firm dedicated to designing tech startups specializing in cutting-edge technologies. One of the first companies, Pixsweet, was created as a pilot for Kyttanen's latest invention 3DTI. An innovative technology which solves all the challenges Kyttanen grew frustrated with in 3D manufacturing - high costs, low speed and lack of scalability. With an abundance of invaluable experience in the 3D industry, Kyttanen is in a unique position to guide and bolster innovative new companies in the field. He is available for consulting, investing, advisory and speaking opportunities.

    Fabbaloo's founder Kerry Stevenson has been fascinated with 3D printing after seeing the idea introduced by Star Trek decades ago - and now it is a reality. He's been writing Fabbaloo since it began in October 2007 under the gradually-becoming-less-mysterious pseudonym "General Fabb".

    Kira Charron is a content strategist with an affinity for emerging technologies. Since 2014, she has served as staff writer, editor, and content creator for the additive manufacturing news sector. She is now located in Toronto, Canada, working within the city’s booming tech ecosystem.
  • Martina Pelagallo

    Martina brings almost a decade of experience as a professional translator and copyeditor to 3DPBM’s Italian editorial website, Replicatore. Working with the editorial team, she is responsible for co-ordinating, translating, copyediting and publishing digital content on our Italian website. Martina received her BA from Sapienza University, Rome and her MA from Gregorio VII University, Rome. She is an avid yoga practitioner and a fan of everything rock ’n’ roll.

    Matteo brings extensive experience as a professional tech journalist to 3DPBM’s Italian editorial website, Replicatore. He has been involved since the very beginning, and has continued to cover the AM industry and its many evolutions. He keeps an eye on its potential to reach the consumer target. Matteo lives and works in Milan, Italy and received his degree from Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy.

Now based in France, Tess has over two and a half years experience writing, editing and publishing additive manufacturing content with a particular interest in women working within the industry. She is an avid follower of the ever-evolving AM industry.

    Victor does not really exist. He is a pseudonym for several writers in the 3D Printing Media Network team. As a pseudonym, Victor has also had a fascinating made-up life story, living as a digital (and virtual) nomad to cover the global AM industry. He has always worked extra-hard whenever he was needed to create unique content. However, lately, as our editorial team has grown, he is mostly taking care of publishing press releases.
