DediBot Presented a Functional Drone 3D Printer at TCT Asia

Hangzhou based Dedibot presented a functional Drone 3D printer at the recent TCT Asia. The innovative concept leverages the company’s OAM (Open-ended Additive Manufacturing) technology which uses multiple drones for 3D printing of large structures on Earth as well as in Space and under the sea.
Drones enable Dedibot to imagine 3D printing in remote locations that cannot be accessed by other means of transportation. By coordinating their movements, the OAM drones can deposit material accurately in any location of a 3D space, thus enabling highly complex architectures even without the use of support materials. The infographic below further clarifies how Dedibot system would work.
