CUR3D Maker Edition Released on Steam

Finally Valve gave us green light for the release of the Maker Edition of CUR3D, as reported by 3Printr, and we have officially pushed out the final build to the Steam shop. We are very happy and proud that everyone can use a version of CUR3D that fits in its purse now.

The release has been postponed several times. The original release date was the 18th July ’17. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding, and will give you an exclusive launch discount of 33% until August 2, 2017.

The professional edition of CUR3D – the first real 3D printing prepress software – was released on 15th November 2016 and now belongs to the standard equipment of many professional 3D printing service providers. But also architects and large-scale plant builders have discovered CUR3D for themselves and are using it productively. Likewise, various German universities use the software for research and teaching.

The Maker Edition surely differs from the professional version: There are no colours, no project management, no object tree, no batch processing and it is only for private usage. But besides that the program offers the same possibilities and power like the professional version: process gigabytes of data to repair, prepare, rescale and so on in seconds and make everything 3D printable in just three clicks with no effort.

3D printing as easy as printing on a white piece of paper

CUR3D will revolutionize your workflow with 3D printers. No matter what type of vision models you want to print, it will revolutionize, accelerate and simplify your work with 3D printers. Now you can concentrate on the essentials and the program does the rest. Thus a high level of productivity, quality gain, cost and time savings is achieved. “Now it’s printable, because it’s CUR3D!”
