Never a dull moment for Dutch based filament manufacturer ColorFabb, as the company, Featured in the Directory, just launched the new colorFabb_HT filament.

The new material is made from Eastman’s Amphora™ HT5300 3D polymer, a low-odor and styrene-free material uniquely suited for advanced 3D printing users, particularly those who need their creations to exhibit superior durability, dimensional stability, toughness and high temperature resistance.

The new functional colorFabb_HT filament is ideal for tough and precise applications

Amphora HT5300 can be made into high-quality filament that exhibits advanced overhang ability, excellent toughness and temperature resistance, good looks and superior melt strength- empowering professional users to create durable, more useful items.

Because of its recognized superior dimensional stability, BPA-free HT5300 allows for 3D printing to exact dimensions, which is especially important for products with tight tolerances and multi-component parts.

Its toughness and chemical resistance also make it ideal for prototyping and testing products, especially for applications that require temperature resistance up to 100° C.

colorFabb_HT Filament Is Blooming in Spring

As of the scheduled March 21st official launch, colorFabb will be offering this highly functional filament in 5 colors: clear, white, light gray, dark gray and black. The product is going to be available from colorFabb’s webshop and through resellers and distributors worldwide. Pre-ordering starts soon.

You can find more information about colorFabb_HT, as well as data sheets and user cases on the dedicated website. In the meantime also take a look at some of the functional products that have already been built by colorFabb’s partner designers during the testing and development phase in this photo gallery.
