Carnegie Mellon University offers a Master of Science in AM

Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh, is offering a Master of Science (MS) in Additive Manufacturing (AM) – a two-semester degree program designed to educate students in the engineering science required to understand and advance additive manufacturing, and provide hands-on experience with designing and building parts using AM technology. The program combines a fundamental understanding of the underlying science, as well as practical instruction in the technologies of additive manufacturing through classroom and laboratory coursework.

Students will normally complete their program within two full-time academic semesters, however, the program accommodates students who wish to pursue the MS on a part-time basis, while continuing to work, for example.

The program is open to applications from students with diverse backgrounds, and from individuals with work experience. Unfortunately, US immigration regulations do not allow Carnegie Mellon University to issue visa documents for the part-time Master of Science in Additive Manufacturing program.
