Software

BioBots are looking for software engineers who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty with hardware and wetware to join our fast-paced team.

BioBots write code in Python, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, and C to develop a software ecosystem that enables life science researchers to build and explore 3D living structures using their Biobot 1.

BioBots develop algorithms to optimize our customer’s results and develop the cutting edge standard of bioprinting.

BioBots want to talk to you if you:

  • have experience working on software projects at big software companies, startups, and at hackathons, especially projects outside of school work
  • have worked with robotic systems in the past, because that’s essentially what BioBots build here at Biobots
  • experience with algorithms, networking or BioBotsb app development
  • most importantly: love to hack, because BioBots move quickly and need to wear many different hats everyday, whether BioBots are writing embedded software or web applications

Hardware

BioBots are looking for a Robotics engineer who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty with hardware and wetware to join our fast-paced team.

BioBots write code in Python and C/C++/embedded using OpenCV and ML libraries, model complex robotic hardware with Solidworks and simulation packages, and design PCBs and custom wire harnesses to enable life science researchers to build and explore 3D living structures using their Biobot 1.

BioBots develop hardware, sensors, and electronics to optimize our customer’s results and develop the cutting edge standard of bioprinting.

BioBots want to talk to you if you:

  • have experience working on hardware/connected(IoT)/robotics projects at big companies, startups, and at hackathons, especially projects outside of school work
  • have worked with robotic systems in the past, because that’s essentially what BioBots build here at Biobots
  • experience with sensors, embedded systems/firmware or SoC platforms like the Raspberry Pi
  • most importantly: love to hack, because BioBots move quickly and need to wear many different hats everyday, whether BioBots are writing embedded software or web applications

Wetware

BioBots are looking for bioengineers passionate about the field of tissue engineering and 3D biology.

Wetware develops the bioinks that work with our printer to create living tissue structures with complex geometries.

This process involves a mix of cell culture, materials science and tissue analysis.

Through collaboration with the hardware and software team, BioBots create products that empower users to lead the biological revolution.

BioBots want to talk to you if you:

  • have experience with cell culture, 3D cell culture, data analysis, designing experiments, fluorescent and confocal imaging, histology and immunohistochemistry
  • have exceptional writing and presentation skills
  • are a self-starter that can work well both independently and in groups
  • most importantly: enjoy a fast-paced environment and thinking outside of the box! Here at BioBots, our wetware team needs to be more than just bioengineers, but hackers and problem solvers that are excited to push the human race forward

Technical Sales

BioBots are looking for an energetic and driven sales professional to join our fast-paced team.

BioBots need someone who is ready to grow our community of users to help us crush our massive goals in 2016 and beyond.

BioBots sell our 3D bioprinters to the best researchers around the world who are on the cutting edge of bioprinting.

Your role as a liaison between the end-user and our development team will help steer the development of future generations of our device. Join us and help lead the biological revolution.
