Praxair, for its part, is a Linde company that offers a portfolio of high-performance coatings for the aviation and energy industries, among others. By combining Praxair’s coatings solutions with BEAMIT extensive metal additive manufacturing capability, the companies are effectively enabling their respective clients to reduce their supplier portfolio and streamline their manufacturing chains.

“In PST we found a very good partner, capable [of providing] us with leading expertise in surface treatments for aerospace applications, as well as world-leading special processes know-how,” commented Gabriele Rizzi, Chief Commercial Officer of BEAMIT. “Our partnership will definitely benefit both current and future ADS OEM’s customers going forward.”

Marco Bracchetti, Aviation Marketing Leader at Praxair, added: “We are pleased to support BEAMIT by bringing our coating services and industry expertise to the table. The high competencies of PST and BEAMIT as market leaders in their respective field of activity, will bring the aviation market a new offer of integrated services to the OEMs and their first tiers globally.”

BEAMIT currently holds accreditations for the aerospace industry, including AS 9100 and approval from the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP).
