Authentise adds Prosper3D quoting tools to AM software platform

Authentise, a California-based process automation software provider for additive manufacturing, has just announced a new partnership with Prosper3D, a company specializing in automatic quoting solutions for AM services. Through the collaboration, Authentise clients will now have the ability to access Prosper3D’s quoting engine tools for more accurate price quotes.

Prosper3D’s quoting tools will be integrated seamlessly into the Authentise Additive Accelerator interface, and will be an addition to Authentise’s existing internal quoting tools, which derive their data from machines. According to the company, users will be able to benefit from accurate quotes for 3D prints as well as printability assessments, rendering, automatic traveler creation, file conversion and more.

“We are proud to work with Authentise to bring our quoting algorithms to additive customers,” commented Ilan Sidi, CEO of Prosper3D. “For too long, service providers in the area have wasted time and money generating inaccurate quotes. This partnership broadens the reach of our advanced quoting tools.”

Authentise users also have the ability to access the Prosper3D tools through the software company’s 3Diax modular platform for automated and networked 3D printing solutions.

As Wegner suggests, the partnership between Authentise and Prosper3D is aimed at giving its clients a broader option of tools they can use to improve and automate the additive manufacturing process—especially within the context of a service bureau—even if that means creating competition for its own tools.

Last year, Authentise announced that it was connected to the widest variety of additive manufacturing devices of all software developers. From this leading position, it seems clear the software provider is not resting on its laurels and intends to maintain its place in the industry.
