This gorgeous AM Vulcan scale model is entirely 3D printed

We’ve covered Sebastiaan Pot and his amazing scale model cars before, however, every new creation – and there are now several – is a new work of art that does not cease to amaze. The same applies for this latest 1:8 scale Aston Martin Vulcan – with the added perk that the car brand’s acronym is the same as that commonly used for additive manufacturing.

And it is quite appropriate since the level of productivity that Pot and his team at Big Scale Cars have reached has been made possible by the greater accessibility of AM technologies. The team has over 20 years experience designing cars in 3D CAD-software. The current 3D-printing technology allows them to create great looking, accurate scale models.

“Art and cars are our biggest passion, so we combine those into our products,” they say. “Every car that we build is a true piece of art. Our cars are always handcrafted and assembled by an experienced and passionate team. We’ll work tirelessly to ensure that every detail of our products is perfect. Each car is unique!” This AM’ed AM certainly is.

Victor Anusci

Victor was born in Alexandria, Egypt where he attended school and began working as a professional photographer. He moved to Paris, France, in 1998, where he began working with 3D technologies including photogrammetry and later on 3D scanning and 3D mapping. He developed a passion for 3D printing as a mean to give a physical form to his creations.
