As reported by 3dpbm’s Spanish-language portal, Replicadore.es, the fifth edition of the largest 3D printing congress in Argentina, the Congreso Argentino de Impresión 3D, will be held next November 6th and 7th. During these two days the Metropolitan Design Center of Buenos Aires will be focusing on 3D, with large format live printers, chocolate printing, ceramics, bio-printers, metal, services, projects, supplies, live scans, robots, virtual reality, and workshops for children and adults.
During the two days, referents from various sectors will tell about their experiences on how they applied 3D printing in areas such as education, medicine, industry, art, automotive, and jewelry. They will present practical cases for the general public and for any person, company or establishment that is interested in starting to implement 3D printing in their professional field. It will also be an important linking and networking space.
One of the main objectives of the Argentine Chamber of 3D Printing and Digital Manufacturing is to raise awareness around 3D printing technology known and around the companies that work within the local 3D printing ecosystem. The 3D Congress seeks to generate a space where operators can show all activities of this sector, promote knowledge exchanges and expose the latest advances in the field, analyze experiences and establish strategic alliances.
On the first day, Wednesday, November 6th, the agenda will be focusing on applications for industrial manufacturing and medicine, targeting companies and professionals from different fields. The day of November 7th will be addressed to the general public, focusing on topics such as art, jewelry, hobbyists, materials, and entrepreneurship.
This Congress has been held since 2014. The 2017 edition was attended by important experts in digital manufacturing with as many 4,000 participants from different areas and professions, hailing from various parts of the country and abroad, confirming the event’s status as one of the most important in Latin America on this technology.
