AMTech, the leading additive manufacturing trade show in India, is coming back for its sixth edition next 2-3 December 2022 at Hall 2, HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad. The show is bringing together key AM players looking to capitalize on the country’s incremental focus on AM technology.
The Additive Manufacturing industry in India is at a very interesting inflection point and now with the Indian Government launching the National Strategy for Additive Manufacturing, the adoption of this technology is on the rise across the whole country. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) aims to increase India’s share in global additive manufacturing to 5 percent within the next three years, with hopes that it could add up to $1 billion to the gross domestic product by that time.
The organizers of AMTech saw this opportunity early in 2015 to create a credible knowledge sharing and business networking platform, which was also the need of the hour. With constant industry support and committed efforts in the course of 5 editions since 2015, the show has scaled up to be India’s leading Additive Manufacturing and saw collaborations with organizations like SAMA and NAMIC in their 2019 Edition. This year 3dpbm will be an exclusive partner to help promote the event, and the key market it represents, around the world.
“Our efforts right from inception have been to build a valuable all-inclusive platform for the various stakeholders of Additive Manufacturing both on the supply and user side to drive adoption of this technology in the right direction,” said Aditya Chandavarkar, Co-Founder, AMTech and Managing Editor, AM Chronicle
For this 6th edition, the tradeshow is making the big move to the technology hub of Hyderabad. AMTech will be held on 2-3 December 2022 at Hall 2, HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad. AMTech is built on an ecosystem approach and includes the participation of the key Additive Manufacturing stakeholders from Software, Hardware, Services, Consulting, Materials and Postprocessing domains.
The show is attended by professionals from Automotive, Government Labs Engineering, Defence, Powder Metallurgy, Injection Moulding, Research, Tooling, Healthcare, Packaging and Aerospace industries.
“With our 30+ years of combined expertise in the area of building ecosystems and technical publishing our outlook is to envision AMTech as a global tradeshow with a local focus,” added Dilip Raghavan, Co-Founder, AMTech
The show is also supported by the newly constituted National Centre of Additive Manufacturing based in Hyderabad which is the nodal body to promote and build awareness about Additive Manufacturing in India which is a collaboration between the Ministry of Electronics and IT and the Government of the State of Telangana.
AMTech 2022 will have some special features which will be announced in the forthcoming releases including dedicated activities for the Healthcare sector, startups, Technical seminars covering various topics including AM Standards and Certification. In addition, AMTech is collaborating with one of the leading marketing research and knowledge platforms (and publisher of this website) – 3dpbm – to build awareness among the global AM community about the potential of the Indian Additive Manufacturing industry.
“We have seen the Indian AM industry grow at a very rapid pace over the past few years and we are very happy and excited to help make AMTech the leading reference event for AM in the region. We have known Aditya Chandavarkar and his team for several years and we know his commitment and dedication to the AM industry’s growth.
