Ampower and German full-service provider for development, prototyping and 3D printing, H & H, now offer joint training in Additive Manufacturing. The aim of the cooperation is to enable customers to identify the enormous potential of Additive Manufacturing. Ampower supports H & H customers with a comprehensive 2-day training program. In addition to the basics of Additive Manufacturing, potentials for specific applications of the customer is also developed in the workshop. As an engineering and manufacturing service provider, H & H offers the design and manufacturing of components and accompanies the customer on the way to serial production.
“With Ampower, we have a partner that combines application proximity and many years of industrial experience in the field of Additive Manufacturing. Joint training enables us to bring our customers to successfully leverage the potential of Additive Manufacturing and gain competitive advantage over their competitors.” Raphael Hoffmann, Managing Director and co-founder of H & H on the objectives of the cooperation.
Widely referred to as 3D printing, the Additive Manufacturing technology is considered one of the biggest topics of the future in the manufacturing industry. The process enables metal components to be “printed” directly from digital data within a very short time. In addition, the new process allows for designs not feasible with conventional production methods. By means of the method metal laser melting complex components/assemblies can be created with reduced weight.
“Technology knowhow is one of the most important basics of a successful AM implementation. Our workshop differs from existing training offerings by the technical depth in the basic knowledge, for example, concerning material properties. Through H & H, we can bring the training to a new level of experience by integrating real components and user knowledge in training.” Ampower’s Eric Wycisk.
