Alexander Daniels Global provides employment resources in midst of COVID-19

AM recruitment company Alexander Daniels Global is offering support in the COVID-19 pandemic in the best way it knows how: with recruitment and employment tips and solutions. As part of this effort, the company has launched the Coronavirus Help Hub, through which 3D printing companies, organizations and professionals can access outplacement services, HR crisis management advice and more.
As we’ve seen, 3D printing has come to play a critical role in the production of PPE and other COVID-19 relief products. Despite the technology’s role and exposure in this time, the AM industry has faced many of the same economic and workplace challenges faced in other sectors. Alexander Daniels Global is aiming to provide much-needed support on these fronts with its new online hub.
The Coronavirus Help Hub consists of four key elements: outplacement services, HR crisis management advice, a free career advice booklet for professionals and free content.
Outplacement services
Companies across many industries are having to downsize, laying off employees and restructuring operations. Alexander Daniels Global is aware of these challenges and is thus providing outplacement services to help companies and employees in the additive sphere through the difficult transition. As part of this service, the company is offering a complimentary and premium option. The former consists of free webinars covering the basics of CV writing, interview tips and advice on finding job opportunities. The premium service (with a fee) includes one-on-one career counselling and workshops to help redundant workers find their next job. Organizations are invited to share these outplacement services with their redundant workers in this challenging time.
HR crisis management
In this section, ADG addresses another quandary: how to hire employees during a crisis of this nature? The recruitment company here offers advice to HR and management teams, looking at interim employees, as well as offering hiring tips and advice on how to properly manage employees in this pandemic. In the latter topic, the firm emphasizes the importance of transparency and compassion.
Career advice booklet
Through the Coronavirus Help Hub, workers have access to a free career advice booklet, which provides valuable information on finding employment in the additive manufacturing industry. The booklet covers the following topics: starting your job hunt, preparing your documents, job interview tips, advice for junior professionals and advice for senior professionals.
Free content
Finally, ADG has also made a slew of other content freely accessible, including its most recent Salary Survey report and the Regional Talent Market Whitepaper, which analyzes the talent market in AM, providing information about key hiring trends, in-demand skills, the big players and the talent shortage. (Regional reports are free, however the full report must be purchased.)
